- Replaces Mercury, Mariner, and Mercruiser shift and throttle cables from 1965 to date with aftermarket 10-32 thread controls
- For all Mariner engines with Mercury/Mariner controls from 1993 and up with aftermarket 10-32 thread controls
- Cable has a 10-32 threaded terminal at the control end and a Mercury type engine end
- Does not require cable fitting kit
- Manufactured specifically for the marine environment
- Stainless steel and brass fittings
- Xtreme cables feature a patented splined core for easy inner cable movement with minimum lost motion
- 10 contact point cable core allows cable to glide smoothly in both directions
- 4 in. minimum bend radius
- Heavy duty .34 in. black HDPE outer casing withstands UV, salt water, oil, gasoline, and other chemicals
- Measure cable to be replaced from tip to tip and round up to the next foot to obtain correct length
- For new outboard installations - measure cable routing path, round up to the nest foot and then add 4 feet for loop at engine to prevent kinking
- For new inboard or stern drive installations – measure cable routing path and round up to the next even foot
