Crusader Model Identification
- To accurately identify parts for your Crusader engine, the model, serial number and year are needed
- The identification plate on the engine has most information you will need for parts identification
- The location of the identification plate depends on the age of the engine
- On pre-XL series engines, the identification tag is attached to the flywheel housing
- On XL and XLI series, the identification plate is attached to the block
- Also XL and XLI have a specification decal located on one of the valve covers
