What You Need to Know About the Crusader Fuel Filter Kit
This Crusader 2-micron fuel filter kit is used in the Crusader fuel cell assembly. It is designed specifically for Crusader engine applications. The kit includes the filter element along with the o-rings needed for service replacement and fits all Crusader engines using a fuel cell.

What You Need to Know About the Crusader 3-Inch Exhaust Elbow
This Crusader exhaust elbow is specific to the Crusader engine. It fits the Crusader exhaust manifold design and no others. The 3-inch refers to the exhaust hose size that connects to the elbow. It’s a typical marine water jacketed cast iron item and is painted in the classic Crusader blue.
This is not a current production part. It was used by Crusader in the 1960s up until 1992. At that point, its use in everyday production was discontinued

The Crusader Pierburg electrical/mechanical fuel pump is designed specifically for Crusader fuel-injected engines. It has a motor which drives a pumping device to move the fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel system on the engine.
Why are Pierburg fuel pumps not interchangeable between marine engine manufacturers?

What You Need to Know About the Crusader Big Block Exhaust Manifold
This Big Block GM center rise exhaust manifold is the original equipment used by Crusader. They began using this manifold in 1992 on the GM 454/7.4L and 502/8.2L engines. Beginning in 2001, it was used with the 496/8.1L GM engine through the end of production in 2012. It had a 20-year run of production when there were a lot of these engines built and is still available for service replacement.

What You Need to Know About the Indmar Pierburg Electric Fuel Pump
The Indmar Pierburg electric fuel pump is used on fuel-injected engines. It’s an electrical mechanical pump and has a motor which rotates a mechanical pumping device to pull the fuel in and then push the fuel out to the fuel system on the engine.
Indmar buys but also designs and manufactures component parts. Then they take those items and install them on a General Motors or a Ford engine to make it a complete marine engine package. Pierburg is the manufacturer

What You Need to Know About the Sherwood Raw Water Pump for Crusader
The Sherwood raw water pump was used at Crusader from the 1970s through 1992 which they installed on the majority of engines they built. Thus, Sherwood produced a vast number of these pumps. It does require maintenance, service, and winterization.

What You Need to Know About the Crusader Rear Engine Mount
The Crusader rear engine mount is the attaching component between the engine/transmission and the hull of the boat. It’s a fully adjustable mount which can move in and out away from the engine and up and down to raise and lower the engine. It’s what’s used to adjust the engine position to provide alignment to the propeller shaft.
It’s also an isolation device. There are rubber isolators in the assembly which help reduce vibration and engine
